Second project workshop - Stare Hamry 20-20 June 2016.
Second workshop was organized at Czechia, at Stare Hamry - Grun village, in the Dark Sky Park "Beskydy".
Accomodation and workshop was held in hotel "Charbulak" (www.charbulak-beskydy.cz).
20 June- I workshop day
Main sybject of workshop was "Dark sky park as a tourist center". Every partner show presentation about his cauntry and dark/starry sky park.
In special way partners show park aktivities for tourist and tourism development.
After lunch was a firsr park study visit at Dark Sky Park "Beskydy". Workshop participants underwent tourist route from the hotel to the place of astronomical shows, the pension Svarna Hanka.
Unfortunately, the weather conditions (rain and then fog) was not allowed to organize a night observations and photographing the sky. We could not therefore see how is the night sky in the DSP Beskydy.
21 June- II workshop day
On the second day of the visit, the improving weather, participants will be able to see the panorama of the Czech part of the DSP Beskydy, explore the countryside, the village of Stare Hamry and see the Slovak part of the park.
We visited the nearest park Slovak astronomical observatory in Kysucke Nowe Mesto, on the way back.
